30 cats at Kyoto, Japan took part in this experiment to prove that they could recognise illogical situation. The experimenter put balls in a box and rattled it in front of the cats. By controlling the balls via electromagnet, we could create 4 scenarios: sound/ball drop, no sound/no ball drop, no sound/ball drop, and sound/no ball drop.
The latter two peculiar scenarios drew the cats’ attention. The researcher suggests it might provide proof to the cats understanding of physics and logica thinking.
Take it with a grain of salt. But they will still chase after a laser spot on the ground.
